Project Overview:
Our partnership with Los Angeles’s KTLA produces another highly innovative truck platform for broadcast news gathering! This all-wheel-drive Nissan Armada is the perfect SUV for this Ku / CENG truck. There’s a lot of functionality to this truck, and it still has 800+ lbs. of payload for the crew and gear.

Technology:
This vehicle features the rock-solid AvL 1.2 antenna with an Advantech 125w GaN SSPA and our custom RF control panel. We’ve integrated the Dejero Engo within easy reach for quick deployment, and a custom fold-away workstation helps maximize the space for the operator. Our Live & Drive™ system allows multi camera switching while transmitting live video. And it features an Atomos Shogun touchscreen monitor which brings in video footage and lets them record and playback video from any source.

The streaming vehicles are live–on–the–go with the Dejero Engo CENG gear, and the Frontline Communications’ Live & Drive™ system allows multi camera switching while transmitting live video.
