Project Overview:
The City of Dallas recently received their brand new Frontline Communications C-45X-4 Arrow XT™ mobile command vehicle. This is a fully integrated turn-key unit that was designed and built to meet the missions of Dallas OEM, Dallas Fire, and Dallas Police.
Technology:
This truck is fully loaded. Systems package includes a 32x32 video switcher and 4 remote-control panels for 19 interior monitors, one large touchscreen display with screen mirroring, and one exterior digital signage display. An 8 input multi-viewer allows up to 8 video sources viewed simultaneously on a single displays. Two high-definition Pan/Tilt/Zoom mast camera systems allowing 360° views around the vehicle, plus six surveillance cameras installed on the perimeter of the vehicle. A 1.2M Ku-Band auto-acquire IP satellite antenna system is installed for data and voice over IP (VOIP) phones. Additional features are the Cradlepoint dual-modem cellular network with signal booster, a PBX phone system with 8 phones/extensions and up to 3 outside lines, 8-Position hybrid wired/wireless radio headset system paired with 8 all-band radios, provides up to 4 talkgroups, and the DIRECTV high definition auto-acquire satellite tv system with dual receivers.
