Project Overview:
Ventura County Sheriff's Office purchased two Frontline Communications C-45X-4 mobile command units to serve the citizens and fellow emergency responders of Ventura County. These command trucks are packed with the latest options and technology providing a highly functional environment to support Ventura County Sheriff's Office mission.
Technology:
This truck build provides a large meeting space and multi-agency interoperability. Resulting in a conference room in the rear with touchscreen, screen-sharing, PA systems, and VTC capabilities with on-board PCs and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) support. The front room is modular, featuring interoperability radio dispatch stations for all common frequencies and walk-up laptop stations. The data backbone runs on multi-modem cellular technology with satellite data as a backup. Additional capabilities include a PTZ camera system, Satellite and local TV, and a video switching matrix. The end result is a versatile truck that can serve as a multi-agency meeting space and backup on-demand radio dispatch center.
