The Frontline Communications’ SUV broadcast news vehicle can be built on the Chevrolet Suburban or Ford Expedition. The SUV provides comfort and maneuverability in a dense traffic or city environment.
The Suburban and Expedition vehicles can each accommodate up to two racks and utilize a power system by a 1-3kw Inverter with heavy-duty alternator back-up from the vehicle engine or a 6.3kw Vehicle Engine mounted Generator. Masts up to 42-ft (12.8m) can be installed with all the equipment needed for LIVE Television.
Large rear storage capacity and available custom options such as Camera lockers and tripod tubes make this vehicle a totally capable live news machine.
The Suburban and Expedition are the work horses of many municipal emergency services because of their serviceable, robust nature, and are well suited for intense use as news vehicles.
